- Biotechnology Center
- Encompasses more than 150 faculty researchers, representing sixteen departments in seven different colleges and schools, on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus.
- Maize Genetics Cooperation Stock Center
- Houses the nation's maize collection.
- Microscopic Imaging Center
- A campus-wide service Microscopy laboratory located in the College of Veterinary Medicine. The laboratory specializes in electron microscopy but also provides imaging service for light microscopy.
- Morrow Plots
- Established in 1876, the Morrow Plots are the oldest agronomic experiment fields in the United States. They include the longest-term continuous corn plot in the world. In 1968, the Morrow Plots became a National Historic Landmark.
- National Soybean Research Laboratory (NSRL)
- Leadership in applying innovative approaches to meeting rapidly changing research and development needs in the soybean industry.
- Plant Care Facility
- The Plant Care Facility (PCF) serves as the primary greenhouse space available to faculty, staff, and students within the Departments of Crop Sciences (CPSC), Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES), and affiliated USDA projects.
- SoyFACE
- SoyFACE (Soybean Free Air Concentration Enrichment) is an innovative facility for growing crops under production field conditions in an atmosphere with higher levels of carbon dioxide and ozone.
- Technology Commercialization Laboratory
- Facilitates and expedites the efforts of entrepreneurs, fledgling firms, and established firms to commercialize technology and information generated in programs of the University of Illinois.
