Reducing food waste and food loss

#askACES World Food Day celebrates the researchers, producers, and humanitarians who dedicate their careers to solving one of the most pressing issues facing our world: feeding 9 billion people by 2050. The College of ACES imagines a world with abundant food, healthy options, empowered communities, and financial security – all keys to tackling the challenges of world hunger. ACES experts Prasanta Kalita, associate dean for academic programs, and Matthew Stasiewicz, assistant professor of applied food safety, will join us for an #askACES Twitter Chat on October 16th, noon-1 p.m. CT, to talk about what ACES is doing to reduce food waste and food loss– and what you can do – to meet the global food challenge.
